Instrument of nature: Etta James (25 January 1938 – 20 January 2012)

Something strange happened to me earlier...

After publishing Flo Rida's song "Good Feeling",

I returned on youtube to listen Etta James's "Something's got a hold on me".

Flo Rida's "Good feeling" has samples from this one... Anyway, I was singing and dancing and happy, then I recived an e-mail...

14 years old. A young girl, inspired by the doo-wop style, formed a girl band wich captured Johnny Otis's attention who gave birth of Etta James.

Another instrument of nature has left the Earth. "At last", she may rest in peace, she found "Peace of my heart".

She has won 6 Grammy awards of which one is the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (2003) and 7 Blues Music Awards. She ranks number 22 in top 100 Greatest Singers and 62 in the top100 Greatest Artists.

She was considered "link" between rhythm and blues and rock and roll.

We all know that she's not gone. Listening the music of Beyonce, Hayley Williams, Christina Aguilera, Joss Stone or Adele, we will always find her.

We use to say: "V'day, wtf... I think that this "holiday" should be everyday " or "I don't need 14 February to show ma love for the opposite sex"... True fellows, but hey! at Christmas, we meet all the familly, we make eatch other presents, we smile or sing with "no reasons"... The 31 December, it's a day as the other ones, but we have to celebrate, we have to dress up 'n all, no?!... Your B'day, you need all your friends, familly, boo etc, near you. V'day is kinda'f the same... They are all "simply" days with a lot of psychic power... the endorphines make lot of "ka'booms"
Ma dudes 'n dudets... those who are realy in love, the next song is fo' ya'll. This time I didn't peek a "cry me a river song" (aka deep one), it's something who makes that ass shakin'... soooo, like Depeche Mode say : "let me see you stripped"

Yup, is official... una din legendele vii v-a concerta in Bucuresti, live, pe 26 august 2009, in Parcul Izvor, Madonna.

Sunt curioasa cum se va comporta "madonna Romaniei" aka Loredana? care mai nou canta "gipsy punk"

Britney, "adevarul gol golut"

Una din revenirile "bouche B" ale anului 2008, Britney Spears, se va "confensa" lumii prin intermediul MTV-ului, duminica 30 noiembrie. La noi poate v-a aparea "la pastele cailor", sorry, dar stim cu totii cat de "repede ajung la noi vestile'.... sau poate ca nu... nu stiu, nu am mai urmarit MTV Romania, de luni...
Britney: for the record, este numele "spovedaniei" ei in fata camerelor de filmat.
Este vorba de ceva gen "Diary" (acea emisiune faimoasa, unde artistii isi povestesc experientele din turnee si nu numai). Spun "gen" pentru ca atat ea, Britney, cat si cei de la MTV, l-au numit documentar.
"sunt multe lucruri de care oamenii nu stiu despre mine, iar eu vreau ca ei sa le stie", declara Britney...
aici intervin eu...
Pinkie: off the record- cine sa ii mai inteleaga pe "cocorociushkii" astia? aka artisti... ba se plang pe la toate posturile tv/reviste/ziare ca nu mai au o viata personala, ca vor liniste si bla bla bla-uri din astea, s-a trezit "frumoasa din padurea adormita" in 2008, sa se "spovedeasca", ca nah, au iesit prea multe zvonuri in cei 2/3 ani de "absenta"... maaaa rog...
Logic, "urla" curiozitatea in je, sa aflu, sa vad, sa aud care este de fapt motivul real pentru care s-a aflat in acele prea bine cunoscute situatii...
